We're currently fixing the bottom element of our oven as it isn't working at all. Quote from the repairman to buy the part & install it had the part listed at around $200. A quick Google search for the same part has prices ranging from $20 (requires shipping from China) to $80 (ie Bunnings, other local appliance parts online stores). When questioned, the repairman claimed they couldn't find that price. Yeah ok mate, sure.
