Universities who sign these multimillion dollar contracts to provide students and staff with access to LLMs should lose their accreditation. These tools exist to roll back human learning at all levels of society and are directly in opposition to the mission of a university. May as well close the school library. Why not?

Eventually there will be broad understanding of AI as the structural and moral equivalent of slavery, but with most of the ugly violence on human bodies kept far out of site. For now we only experience that frictionless feeling of having someone always ready to listen and comply. When we prompt, we can’t yet see the roll-back of democracy, education, art, the concentration of power into the hands of a few billionaires who see their agents as having superior rights to arms and suffrage.

The thought that we are separate as beings is there and seems obvious. But if we examine it, there isn’t a shred of empirical justification for it. Nothing can be found to be singular. And if there are no singular things, the whole multiplicity impression is an illusion. It’s all just projection. Like a magic trick we play on ourselves.
